Michigan Wins to Open Borseth Era

Michigan beat Akron 67-54 to open the Kevin Borseth era. Ta'Shia Walker (Lansing Sexton) had 17 to lead Michigan.

Penn State beat Charlotte 73-67. Janessa Wolff (Park Rapids) had 6 points for Penn State.

Western Michigan beat Northwestern 64-61. Tiera DeLaHoussaye (Detroit Country Day) had 15 for Western Michigan. Melissa Miller (Breck) did not score for Northwestern.

Creighton beat Arkansas Little Rock 67-54. Michelle Kaus (Eastview) scored 10 for Creighton with Tyrai Bronson (Mpls North) added 8.

Butler edged Ohio 59-58. Lauren Kohn (Adrian, Michigan) had 13 and Jackie Hiebert (Hopkins) had 7 for Ohio.

Wagner beat Columbia 78-67. Chelsea Frazier (Breck) had 17 points for Columbia.

Louisville beat Ball State 81-62. Brandie Radde (Niles, MI) had 15 for Louisville.

Prairie View A&M beat Howard 77-73. no links. Kandis Brown (Lakeville) had 10 for Prairie View A&M.

New Mexico beat Dayton 72-64. Amy Beggin (Roseville) had 9 and Jessica Kielpinski (Mandan) had 4 for New Mexico. Brittany Holterman (Racine Prairie) had 14 for Dayton.
