HUDSON TURKEY CLASSIC
HOLY ANGELS stars 49, MENOMONIE indians 38

Holy Angels used a rotation of 12 players in the win over Menomonie. The Stars have some long lanky players, while Menomonie could only match them in the post.

Holy Angels maintained a lead for most of the contest. They only trailed once at 6-5, three straight scores to close the first quarter gave HA an 11-6 lead. For most of the game HA would push the lead out to five and then Menomonie would close the gap to three. In the second quarter Menomonie closed to 16-13, but another three straight scores for HA closed the quarter and put the Stars up 22-14.

The second half was more of the same with HA pushing the lead out to 26-19, Menomonie scraping back to 26-23 and then quickly re-establishing their lead at 30-23. The Indians did not score the last 7 possessions of the third quarter.

There was no suspense in the fourth quarter.
