Michigan State beat Northern Illinois 67-40 in Cancun. Alyssa DeHaan had 17 to lead the Spartans. Becky Smith (Janesville Parker) had 8 for NIU.

Georgia Tech beat Northwestern 55-46. Melissa Miller (Breck) had 3 for Northwestern.

Alaska Anchorage beat Santa Clara 52-50. Rebecca Kielpinski (Mandan, ND) had 23 for AA. Claire Goins (Sioux City Heelan) had 2 for Santa Clara.

Cleveland State beat Bradley 82-61 in Alaska. Jenny Van Kirk (Waconia) had 20 and Renee Frericks (Forest Lake) did not score for Bradley.

Auburn beat Oakland 71-63. Melissa Jeltema (Grand Rapids Christian) had 22 for Oakland.

Marshall beat Morehead State 83-79. Kizzy Hart (Oak Park, MI) had 17 for Marshall.

IUPUI beat SC Spartanburg 65-56. Jessica Bennett (Milwaukee Washington) had 3 for IUPUI.

D2 ACTION
Upper Iowa beat Central College 73-36. Ashley Martin (Ames, IA) had 21 for UIU.

MSU Moorhead edged St. Cloud State 93-87. Jessica Fesenmaier (BOLD) had 27 for Moorhead. Kayla Rengel (St. Cloud Tech) had 23 for St. Cloud. It was experienced post play that gave Moorhead the edge according to the St. Cloud Times.

COMMUNITY COLLEGE
#1 Iowa Central rolled past Minneapolis CTC 111-48 on Wednesday night. Abby Brend had 20 for IC. Brittany Johnson (Mpls North) had 25 for MCTC. From the Fort Dodge Messenger.

UPCOMING ACTION
Iowa is down in Cancun and will play twice there. From the Des Moines Register.
