Gophers Rally to Top Louisville, SDSU 4-0

Minnesota beat Louisville 74-59. MN rallied with a 21-4 run late in the contest. The Gophers Emily Fox was named MVP of the tourney. Fox had 23 points for the Gophers. Ashley Ellis-Milan (St. Paul Central) had 15. Angel McCoughtry of Louisville had 39 points. Also the StarTribune.

Iowa beat Northern Iowa 77-67. Johanna Solverson had 17 for Iowa. Krista VandeVenter (Osseo) added 9 for the Hawkeyes. Jacqui Kalin (Sioux City North) and Nicole Clausen (Denison-Schleswig) both had 14 for UNI. Iowa survived a comeback rally by UNI. From the Des Moines Register.

Illinois beat Southern Illinois 63-53. Jenna Smith (Bloomington Kennedy) had a career high 32 points for Illinois.

Drake beat Weber State 78-64. Jill Martin (Norwalk, IA) had 25 for Drake. Lauren Dybing (St. Croix Lutheran) had 6 and Katie DeWitt (Centennial) had 0 for Drake.

UTSA beat Wichita State 68-60. Daria Frazier (Mpls North) had 10 points for Wichita State.
West Virginia beat Cornell 93-52. Ashley Powell (Detroit Murray-Wright) had 2 points for WV.

Holy Cross beat Maine 79-50. Brittany Bowen (Merrill, WI) did not score for Maine.

Xavier beat Valparaiso 646-53. Sarah Ott (Chippewa Falls, WI) had 10 points for Valpo.

Marist beat Dartmouth 71-35. Kristin Craft (Marshalltown, IA) had 11 points to lead Dartmouth.

Illinois State beat South Florida 82-57. Nicole Lewis (Muskego, WI) had 4 points for Illinois State.

Army beat St. Francis NY 63-57. Megan Ennenga (St. Louis Park) had 1 point for Army.

California beat New Mexico 52-44. Amy Beggin (Roseville) had 4 for New Mexico. Jessica Kielpinski (Mandan, ND) add 10 for NM.

Southern Cal beat Colorado 70-57. Hannah Skildum (Mounds View) did not score for Colorado.

Rutgers beat George Washington 67-42. Stefanie Munro (Mount Clemens, MI) had 1 point for GWU.
