Last night I had the StarTribune's metro previews up in the 7th posting. There are a few more items leftover. Janae Burich of Roseville and Becca Friestleben of Holy Family.

Also there are more teams preview type stories dealing with Edina and #1 St. Paul Central.

Also the StarTribune has story lines for the East Metro teams, West Metro teams and North Metro teams.

Former head coaches Ray Finley (Breck) is an assistant at Providence
Al Berglund has returned to Champlin Park as an assistant. He was the first varsity coach at CP and held the reigns until 2000.

The South Washington County Bulletin looks at the Park-Cottage Grove Wolfpack.

Alyssa Van Klei of Stillwater and her signing with MSU Mankato is in the Stillwater Courier.

SOUTHWEST CONFERENCE
The Southwest Conference race is examined, along with a special focus on Worthington, in the Worthington Daily Globe.

Faith Tinklenberg's signing with Augustana is also featured in the WDG. Tinklenberg helped Pipestone to the AA State Title last season.

GAME CHANGE
The Meadow Creek vs Columbia Heights November 27 game has been rescheduled for Dec. 15 due to the unexpected passing of Meadow Creek Athletic Director, Brian Budish.

FIRST GAME
Tonight the Minnesota High School season tips off with Bloomington Kennedy at Minneapolis Washburn at 7:15 pm.
