Gophers Survive NDSU, Badgers Fall to Wyoming

Minnesota survived a North Dakota State upset effort 68-65. Ashley Ellis-Milan (St. Paul Central) had 15 for Minnesota. Lisa Bue (Austin) had 13 for NDSU. Rebounding was a key for the Gophers according to the StarTribune.

Penn State beat South Carolina 70-63. Janessa Wolff (Park Rapids) had 12 points for Penn State.

Wyoming beat Wisconsin 67-66 in overtime. This was a rematch of the WNIT final from last year won by Wyoming. The Badgers couldn't deliver the "knock out blow" according to the Wisconsin State Journal. Jolene Anderson (South Shore) had 25 points for Wisconsin, Alyssa Karel added five points. Oregon beat Marquette 57-56. Angel Robinson (St. Paul Central) had 10 for Marquette. Krystal Ellis did not play.

Illinois Chicago beat Eastern Illinois 62-58. Jessica Miller (Holy Angels) had 12 for UIC, Cassie Johnson added 2. Ellen Canale (Plymouth Salem, MI) had 11 for Eastern Illinois.

Florida beat Prairie View A&M 69-63. Kandis Brown (Lakeville) had 9 for PVAM.

Princeton beat Lehigh 61-49. Ali Prichard (Apple Valley) and Jillian Schurle (Hopkins) each had 2 for Princeton.

Northern Colorado beat Colorado State 70-60. Lauren Young (Edina) had 14 for CSU, Elle Queen (Minnetonka) added five, Kelly Finley (Breck) 4 and Emily Neal 0 for Colorado State.

St. Joseph's beat Penn 63-46. Amy Wold (Cedar Rapids Kennedy) had 2 for St. Joseph's.

Buffalo beat Detroit 66-50. Shawanna Stubblefield (Flint Northern) had 10 to lead Detroit. Chanica Hall (Benilde-St. Margaret's) did not score for Detroit.

Army beat Drexel 60-57. Megan Ennenga (St. Louis Park) did not score for Army.

Canisius beat Binghamton 65-56. Muffy Sadler (Cedar Rapids Kennedy) had 2 for Binghamton.

Columbia beat Lafayette 65-62. Laura Cullen (Clinton, WI) did not score for Lafayette.

#23 Notre Dame more than doubled up Central Michigan 94-41. Shonda Long (Saginaw Buena Vista) had 8 for CMU.

Chicago State beat Loyola IL 55-53. Jasmin Dixon (Detroit King) had 21 for Chicago State.


Santa Clara beat Bradley 69-61. Jenny Van Kirk (Waconia) had 6 and Renee Frericks (Forest Lake) had 0 for Bradley.

Alaska Anchorage beat Cleveland State 80-72 in overtime. Dominique Butler (Milw Madison) had 7 for CSU.

Arkansas State beat Missouri State 74-54. Kayla Pospisil (Marion, IA) had 2 for ASU. Maggie Dwyer (Grand Haven, MI) had 10 for Missouri State.

Vanderbilt beat Clemson 74-56. Amy Malo (Fairmont) had 2 points for Vanderbilt.
