It was a pretty quiet night with only a handful of D1 games with local connections.
Michigan beat Miami FL 65-50. The Wolverines are off to their best start in five years. From the Michigan Daily. Ta'Shia Walker (Lansing Sexton) had 17 to lead Michigan.
Ohio State beat Southern 79-38. Shavelle Little (Ann Arbor Huron) had 7 for Ohio State.
Dayton edged UW Milwaukee 56-55. Traci Edwards (Menasha) had 22 to lead UWM. Lindsay Laur (Cretin-Derham Hall) did not score for UWM. Brittany Holterman (Racine Prairie) had 8 for Dayton.
Creighton beat Memphis 90-57. Michelle Kaus (Eastview) had 12 for Creighton.
American beat Wagner 60-38. Talicia Jackson (DeLaSalle) had 6 for American.
