Minnesota beat Kentucky 92-80. Emily Fox and Katie Ohm (Elgin-Millville) propelled the Gophers to the win. Ohm had a career high 17 points.

Arizona State beat Iowa 60-58. Krista VandeVenter (Osseo) had 5 for the Hawkeyes. Former Gopher Lauren Lacey had 19 for Arizona State.

Indiana beat Wichita State 64-54. Jamie Braun (Marshfield, WI) had 19 for Indiana. Daria Frazier (Mpls North) had 2 for Wichita State.

Illinois crunched South Carolina 91-58. Jenna Smith (Bloomington Kennedy) had 17 for Illinois.

Wisconsin beat Mississippi 74-57. Jolene Anderson (South Shore, WI) had 19 for the Badgers. Alyssa Karel (Cretin-Derham Hall) had 4, Sarah Ingison (Concordia Roseville) had 2, and Tara Steinbauer (Bloomington Kennedy) did not score for the Badgers.

Iowa State stopped Michigan 67-43. Lauren Lacey (Ballard, IA) hit for nine 3s on her way to 35 points.

George Washington beat South Dakota State 65-60. Kristin Rotert (McCook Central) had 15 for SDSU. Maria Boever (Worthington) added 14 for SDSU. Stefani Munro had 3 for GW.

Gonzaga beat Marquette 77-64. Angel Robinson (St. Paul Central) had 12 for Marquette. Krystal Ellis sat out with a sprained knee for Marquette.

Creighton beat Kent State 71-57. Sara Cain (Cedar Rapids Prairie) had 10 for Creighton. Tyrai Bronson (Mpls North) had 9 and Michelle Kaus (Eastview) had 5 for Creighton. Asheley Harkins (Saginaw Arthur Hill) had 17 for Kent State.
