EXHIBITIONS
The freshmen Minnesota connection got off to a good start in Wisconsin's 96-29 kathumping of St. Norbert. Alyssa Karel (Cretin-Derham Hall) had 18 points to lead all scorers.

Michigan State beat Grand Valley State 72-42. Also from the Grand Rapids Press and Holland Sentinel.

South Dakota, in their last season as a D2 school, beat Northern Iowa in a 76-46 thumping ruining Tanya Warren's debut.

Creighton crunched Central Missouri 88-48.

Ferris State beat D1 school Central Michigan 83-61. The loss spoiled the debut of new CM coach Sue Guevara. Stephanie DeNoyelles of Ferris State is back in action after a knee injury. From the Mount Pleasant Morning Sun.
