OUT & ABOUT: Total Package/Green Bay Metro 16
Total Package 80, GB Metro 16 47

There was no doubt that TP was going to come out motivated after a slow start last weekend. GBM actually led 3-2 early. But TP but on the afterburners and zoomed by the tired GBM team. TP never put together a great string, but they never were suffering from a drought either. GBM had droughts of 5, 5, and 9. TP outscored GBM 17-2 to close out the half. TP led 38-13 at half time.

GBM actually had a good string to start the second half with 4 scoring possessions in a row. But it was more of the same the heat, and the pressure from TP resulted in easy shots for TP.

Do to time limitations (I am on my way to BJ) I will only touch on GBM briefly.

TP had too much speed, quickness, height, aggressiveness and legs in this contest. Lay ups help the numbers, and TP was making plenty of them. Free throws added up to 11 for TP and only a measley two for GBM. TP still has to be concerned with giving up the 3 ball as GBM hit for five on the day, four in the second half. TP also made five.

Next up: later today with more on the Bloomington Jefferson AAU tournament.

HAPPY FATHERS DAY
