Riverso to Assist Gophers, Bloomington Results

RIVERSO NEXT GOPHER ASSISTANT
Ted Riverso, former St. Thomas Univeristy head coach, will be the next Gopher assistant. I heard three different people tell me this today at the Bloomington tournament. Riverso is a member of the MN Girls Basketball hall of fame. Last year he was an assistant on the Benilde-St. Margaret's AAA Championship team.

BLOOMINGTON TOURNAMENT
Today I traveled to Bloomington Jefferson specifically to see some out state teams in the BJ Tournament. I saw three new teams--Green Bay Metro 16 (vs Total Package); Team WI Select 14 (vs MN Stars Antl) and IBCA Iowa Select I (vs Team WI 17 Select). My reliable source was not there to do the photos, and if they were they would have no room on the end---things were pretty cramped.
I will get the Iowa/Wisconsin game up tonight, with the others maybe later in the week.
I will be at the BJ tournament tomorrow watching the HS Blue division action, plus the 15 finals between the Stars Antl and Stars Schmidt.
