Here is more on the change over at UM Crookston. Sheila Roux was hired on an interim basis this past year and will be replaced by Mike Roysland. Roux did reapply for the position. Last year UM Crookston was 6-22. More reaction from the players and the reasons for the switch from the Crookston Times.
Tola Neils has been hired at Edgewood College, a D3 school in Madison, Wisconsin. She coached Green Bay Preble to a 52-36 record from 2000 to 2005. Last season she was an assistant at Lakeland college. Here is the Edgewood College press release.

Chico Furtado has stepped down at Kalaheo. He will be replaced by Ryan Hogue. Furtado will continue to coach the boys. Here is more from the Honolulu Advertiser.

Maggie Dwyer is leaving Michigan State for Missouri State. Kathy Abrahamson-Henderson, the Missouri State coach, was an assistant at Michigan State. Here is brief report from the Muskegon Chronicle.

Here are some more photos from the Menomonie Memorial Day Classic. These are from the CWCC vs WI Red 16s quarterfinal game. In the first shot Anna Peterson of WI Red 16 has driven past Jenny Dahm (#44 blue) and scores the lay up over Lindsey Litrenta (#30). In photo #2 Tori Arnason (#14 blue) goes up with her left hand.
In photo #3 Anna Peterson (#21 red) scores in transition. Photo #4 has Caylin Flanigan scoring and about to be fouled by Amy Sullivan (#21 blue). In the last photo Jess Schneider (#34 blue) scores and is fouled by Peterson. It was CWCC's first lead at 27-25. CWCC eventually went on to win this game 37-36. This weekend the action is at the MidTown YWCA.

The featured game of the tournament will be between Total Package and MN Metro Stars 15s on Sunday at 3 pm.

Barnum will be holding a HS team tournament this Saturday as part of the civic celebration "Spring Fever Days." The tournament will be from 9-5 this Saturday.
