Janesville Parker polished off Madison LaFollette 50-40. From the Janesville Gazette.

Green Bay East stopped Manitowoc 43-33. plus other recaps in the Manitowoc Herald Times.

Eau Claire North beat River Falls 60-58 in overtime. River Falls jumped out to an early lead and kept the pressure on 9th ranked (D1) Eau Claire North all night. Katie Ness showed what was coming from the first tip off as she hustled to grab the tip away from a Huskie player. Four Wildcats had double figures, Katie Herum, Bailey Franklin, Tessa Feyereisen and Tessa Wells. Molly Brendum saw more action tonight and was strong inside with good hands and fast moves down low to draw the fouls. Rita Rabb continued to find the open players and help with her "snappy" passes. Amy Kujak and Bailey Franklin continue to be a factors in rebounding and seem to be getting stronger the last few games.

RF lead after the 1st qtr. 11-8. While using a 2-3 zone defense to effectively limit the inside game of Huskie's Danielle Johnson, the Cats gave up too many easy outside shots to Hannah Quilling (16 pts., 2 3s) and Brandi Whyte (15 pts. including 3 3s) and trailed 30-27 at the half. The Huskies came out shooting hot in the 3rd quarter and they expanded the lead 43-38 at the end of the third. The Cats rallied back and tied the Huskies 51 to force the game into overtime.

River Falls needs to work on court vision and decision making.

This was a great game. These two could end up playing again very soon postseason.

Fox Valley Lutheran downed Hortonville 48-39 plus other recaps of Valley 8 action in the Appleton Post Crescent.

Luxemburg-Casco had some late game heroics by Katlin LeGrave in a 52-50 win over Sturgeon Bay. That marred Sturgeon Bay's Sierra Spaude milestone night. She had 18 points to go over 1000 for her career.

In a battle of Christian schools it was Sheboygan over Central Wisconsin 39-29. plus other recaps in the Sheboygan Press.

LATE REPORTS
Kaukauna threw a wrench in Fond du Lac's conference title plans with a 40-27 win on Friday. From the Fond du Lac Reporter.
