If Des Moines Roosevelt wants to defend their title they will need to beat Johnston Saturday at Urbandale.

Dowling is hoping for state berth #12 in a row. They will need to beat Ames to do it. The time has been changed in this game to 5 pm by the way.

Valley needs to get past Ottumwa to get to the big show. They too play at Urbandale on Saturday.

One way or another East will be in the tournament. The question is will it be Des Moines or Waterloo? The two face each other Saturday in Cedar Falls.

Ankeny's 12-11 season is reviewed in the Des Moines Register as is Waukee's first year in the CIML and Urbandale's CIML title season. DM Hoover is looking to improve on a 4-18 year.
