Hopkins took a measure of revenge against Minnetonka, beating the Skippers on their floor 63-56. Tonka led at half 27-26. Hopkins shot 54% from the floor (27/50) for the night) and controlled the boards 33-22. Jackie Hiebert and Steph Sension dominated inside with 40 points between them, add in Hannah Oliverus and the trio shot 60.6% (20/33). Alyssa Benson led Minnetonka with 22.

Rochester Century beat Austin 77-52 to get close to a share of the Big 9 title. Also in the recaps Camille Stenhaug of Rochester JM went over the 1000 point mark in a 56-35 win over Faribault. She is only the second JM player to top 1000. From the Rochester Post Bulletin.

St. Cloud Tech stopped Little Falls 58-34 plus recaps from the St. Cloud Times. In the other recaps Katie Pettit of Howard Lake-W-W had 25 points to top the 1000 mark in a 80-61 win over Rockford.

Tiffany Good, a senior forward from North Branch, scored 22 points tonight in a win over Columbia Heights 70-31. She now has 1000 points exactly and become the 5th girls basketball player in North Branch history to score 1000. She is the 2nd NB player to achieve this milestone this year. Gabrielle Olson scored her 1000 point just 3 games ago.

Mahtomedi beat North St. Paul in two overtimes 60-56.
Mara Hjelle scored a put back with 2.4 seconds left to tie it at 48 for Mahtomedi.
Leah Nash from NSP hit a desperation 3 with under 20 seconds left to tie it at 53 at the end of the first overtime.
Danielle Daniels fouled out for NSP with one minute to go in regulation. She had 14 points, but only 3 in the second half. Kendra Books had 11. Chanee Roberts was their most effective rebounder.
Heather Smith had 21 for Mahtomedi. She didn't let up the entire game. She opened with three 3s.
NSP only missed three free throws on the night, while Mahtomedi missed 21.

#2 Detroit Lakes beat Bemidji 72-57. From the Bemidji Pioneer.
