Sophomore Tayler Hill reached the 2000 point mark as Mpls South dodged Eagan's upset bid 68-66 in overtime. Hill had 39 on the night.

Hopkins edged Armstrong on Jackie Hiebert's shot at the buzzer 48-46. It was Hopkins 10th game decided by 5 points or less this year, and their 7th that was decided by 2 or less or overtime. They are 5-5 in the 5 or less and 2-5 in the 2 or less games.
Hopkins struggled at the line only going 10/22, while Armstrong worked out some of their problems and was 11/13. One advantage Hopkins had was in the turnover department where Armstrong won that contest 21-11.
Hiebert led Hopkins with 19 with Jenna Lillemoe providing 14.
Amanda Viehauser led Armstrong with 14. and Nicole Dooher added 12.

Woodbury downed Mounds View 42-35 with no player entering double digit land. Woodbury led at half 20-13.
Mounds View sat back in their zone and Woodbury would pass the ball around until they got the shot they wanted, or free throws they wanted.
Jessica Thone and Sarah Hintz had 8 for Woodbury.
Amy Van Meter had 9 for Mounds View off the bench.
Woodbury made 11 free throws to MV's 6.

Owatonna beat Rochester Mayo 64-55 in Big 9 action, plus other Rochester schools results in the Rochester Post Bulletin.

Hutchinson snapped their 11 game Missota conference losing streak with a 48-34 win over Shakopee.

Trisha Frye, Cotton reached the 1000 point mark on Thursday with 12 points against AlBrook.
And in a late, late addition Shannon Renne of Nicollet crossed over to 1000 with 16 in a 69-36 win over LeCenter back on Jan 8.
