IOWA REPORTS
POSTPONEMENTS
due to the winter storm descending on Iowa there are numerous postponements and game times that have moved. Check out the IGHSAU site for updates.

To keep you warm and busy on such a nasty day here are some stats from the quikstats from the IGHSAU.

RESULTS
3A
Defending champ Norwalk is headed back to defend their title with a 55-17 slicing and dicing of Creston. From the Des Moines Register.

Spirit Lake topped Algona to return to state 65-46.

2A
Battle Creek-Ida Grove moved on to state again with a 59-49 win over Treynor. Treynor was also looking to go back to state, but moved up a class from 1A. From the Omaha World Herald.

Davenport Assumption advanced to the state for the 4th straight year with a 52-40 win over MidPrairie. From the Quad City Times and Iowa City Press Citizen.

Monticello moves on to state with a 50-36 win over Union. Here is the Cedar Rapids Gazette, but you will need to be a subscriber to read the story. There is no link.

North Butler has a chance to defend their title as they moved on with a 59-40 win over MFL MarMac. From the Mason City Globe Gazette.

Western Christian moves forward with a 59-53 win over Okoboji.

PCM also punched a ticket to state with a 47-32 win over Central Decatur.

IKM will be able to defend their title as they moved on with a 59-30 win over Exira. From the Omaha World Herald.

Guthrie Center dropped Des Moines Christian in overtime 29-27. GC need a three by Kaitlin Rosenbeck to send the game into overtime. From the Des Moines Register.

Bedford is headed to state for the first time with a 62-40 win over Essex. From the Omaha World Herald.

Lawton-Bronson is making their first trip to state thanks to a 66-48 win over Woodbury Central. plus other recaps in the Sioux City Journal.

Graettinger-Terril is headed to state by the narrow margin of 53-51 over Southeast Webster-Grand thanks to a last second lay up by Megan Torkelson. From the Fort Dodge Messenger.
