Iowa State upset #13 Texas A&M 61-54. West Central's Megan Ronhovde had 7, and Woodbury's Amanda Nisleit had five for ISU. ISU broke a 46 tie which made the crowd pretty pleased in Ames. From the Des Moines Register.
Colorado edged Kansas State 60-58 on two free throws with 6.1 seconds left by Candice Rucker. Mounds View's Hannah Skildum did not score for Colorado.
Texas Tech slipped by Nebraska 70-69. Patrice Edwards hit the game winning free throws, and then blocked a shot to preserve the win. Cannon Falls' Cory Montgomery did not score for Nebraska.
MID AMERICAN
Northern Illinois beat Eastern Michigan 82-68. Holy Angels' Kristin Wiener had 16 for NIU. Mansfield, OH's Canea Williams had 20 for EMU.
Western Michigan beat Central Michigan 80-66. Detroit Country Day's Carrie Moore had 29 for WMU and is now the all time leading scorer in school history. Lansing Sexton's Sharonda Hurd had 21 for CMU.
Bowling Green blasted Akron 91-46. Jordan's Mandy Holzer, and Bloomington Kennedy's Allison Schoff did not score for Akron.
MOUNTAIN WEST
New Mexico beat Colorado State 77-66. Roseville's Amy Beggin started and had 6 for New Mexico. Breck's Kelly Finley had 7 for CSU.
INDEPENDENT

Bethel had a 65-56 win over St. Mary's. Sioux Falls Washington's Annegret Nautsch had 18 for Bethel. Winona Cotter's Jessica Weisbrod had 17 for St. Mary's.
Carleton dropped Macalester 61-52. Portland Lincoln's Hannah Oken-Berg had 13 for Carleton. Mpls SW's Trina PaStarr had a career high 21.
Concordia Moorhead romped over Augsburg 85-48. CM honored the 1982 AIAW National champs on this night. Fargo South's Melanie Hageman had 21 for CM. Chaska's Michelle Richter had 13 for Augsburg.
Gustavus halted St. Olaf 58-44. Hudson's Jess Vadnais had 22 for Gustavus. Wayzata's Kristina Stoermer had 13 for St. Olaf.
St. Benedict put the hammer down on Hamline 73-37. The loss ended Hamline's hopes at the post season. Maple Grove's Ellie Boone had 12 for St. Benedict. Grace Weinreich led Hamline with 7.
St. Thomas dropped St. Catherine 68-59. With the win St. Thomas clinches a spot in the MIAC playoffs. Despite the loss St. Catherine also makes the playoffs for the first time in school history. St. Paul Central's Dee Prioleau had 14 for St. Thomas. Dawson-Boyd's Rachel Berglund had 14 for St. Kate's.
WIAC
River Falls beat LaCrosse 67-54 in overtime. North Branch's Traci Reimann had 16 for River Falls. Random Lake's Nicole Palmer had 22 for LaCrosse.
Stevens Point beat Platteville 76-65. DeForest's Janell Von Gomple had 16 for UWSP. Colby's Liz Tesch had 26 for Platteville.
Whitewater shot down Oshkosh 68-51. Ozaukee's Trisha Thill had 15 for Whitewater. West Allis Hale's Becky Knapp had 14 for UWO.
Eau Claire stomped Superior 78-52. Royall's Heather Witt had 16 for UWEC. Carlton's Katie Moench and Elk River's Kayleigh Day had 10 each for Superior.
