Today the Marquee matchup is the Twin City game at Minneapolis South with the hosts taking on St. Paul Central. It is #1 vs #2. game time is at 2:30, but my recommendation is get their early.

In a rivalry game Hopkins thumped Edina 68-50. A total of 52 fouls were called with 59 FT shot. Both teams were about equal with 29 and 30 attempts. The difference was in the FG % with Hopkins hitting at 53.5% 23/43; and Edina checking in with 31.8% 14/44.
With Minnetonka's 53-46 win over Wayzata it creates a co-champion situation with Hopkins and Minnetonka sharing the Classic Lake title.
Hopkins led 30-25 at half.
Jackie Hiebert led Hopkins with 21. Hannah Muegge had a season high 18.
Lauren Young led Edina with 14.

Coon Rapids bounced back from their loss to Park-Cottage Grove with a 50-39 win over Elk River. From the Elk River Star News.

Rochester Century got a share of the Big 9 title, their first ever, with a 49-41 win over Winona. plus other action in the Rochester Post Bulletin. Rochester JM's Sam Sikkink went over the 1000 point mark with 11 in a 42-40 comeback win over Rochester Mayo. She joins teammate Camille Stenhaug who recently joined the club. Sikkink is the 3rd JM player to reach the mark.

St. Cloud Apollo beat Rocori 70-60. plus other recaps from the St. Cloud Times.

Rogers has some injury, sickness problems and lost their third tight game in a row. Buffalo bumped off Rogers 54-52. Rogers finished 3rd in the Mississippi 8.

Willmar trumped Sauk Rapids 56-34. It was Willmar's fifth win in a row. From the West Central Tribune.
