SPECIAL REPORTS
SOUTHERN EXPOSURE

SOUTH BEATS ROOSEVELT
Minneapolis South beat Roosevelt 78-39 and will host the Twin City game. The game started with a pretty slow pace, Roosevelt actually had an early lead, but then went cold from a long stretch including a bunch of missed free throws. South had a big lead at the half and with 12:00 to go in the 2nd half South was up 55-18. Turnovers where a major problem for Roosevelt in the 2nd half as South scored most of their points on steals and transition stuff.
Four South players ended up in double figures led by Tayler Hill with 21. Kim Grant and Jasmine Bell each had 10 for Roosevelt.

LAKEVILLE SOUTH DROPS EDEN PRAIRIE
LS handed EP their second straight Lake Conference defeat 65-62. EP did strike for 14 3s, but the LS had Jennie and Laura Kalbfell combine for 37 points.
Heather Cook had 18 for EP, all behind the arc. Four other EP players cashed in for 3s.
LS shot 54.1% while EP was at 34.4%.
LS went to the line 27 times compared to the 6 for EP and outscored them there 20 to 4.
