In the battle of the Easts Des Moines beat Waterloo 55-42. Due to poor weather DME traveled to Cedar Falls. From the Des Moines Register and the Waterloo-Cedar Falls Courier.

Sioux City North crunched Lewis Central 76-46 to return to state. From the Sioux City Journal.

Sioux City Heelan punched their state ticket and got revenge over a loss to Harlan last year with a 63-51 triumph over Harlan.

Cedar Rapids Xavier beat Marion 52-35 to advance to state again.

LATE REPORTS
IKM has a chance to defend to their title. They beat Exira 59-30 on Friday. From the Council Bluffs Daily Nonpariel.
