Alex Montgomery, Cannon Falls, 2008 6-1 center has made a verbal to Drake. Montgomery's sister Cory is in her first year at Nebraska. Cannon Falls won the AA state tournament last year. She is the 6th 2008 player for MN to verbal. At this point last year no 2007s had verballed.

Nicollet won their second consecutive Valley Conference Tournament in a convincing 70-38 win over GHEC. You can see details of the game in my out & abouts. I will get my story up later in the day. The Mankato Free Press has their story up now.

#5 Holy Angels defeated Hutchinson 56-44 on Friday in the Missota.
Brainerd's one two punch of Kayla Huether and Megan Bates provided 51 of the 72 points in a 72-64 win over St. Cloud Apollo.
NRHEG pounded United South Central 69-31. NRHEG had a 25 game conference win streak snapped on Tuesday by From the Albert Lea Tribune.

Minneapolis Roosevelt's Lyntrell Wilson will be featured on KARE 11s Academic All Star segment. She is not listed yet, but will be soon. The first showing will be on the 5 pm news on Monday, Feb. 12.
