MINNESOTA REPORTS
AAAA
Amrstrong 40, Benilde-St. Margaret's 36
Benilde's Kachine Alexander was on crutches with no weight being put on her ankle at all - may have heard that Kachine is having surgery on her leg this Tuesday and they hope she is back by sections. Plus, there was a period in this game where LaToya Williams had a tweaked ankle in the second half, but she came back and played after spending some time on the bench. Mayclin was in foul trouble too, so she spent a lot of minutes sitting as well.
This game had a lack of intensity to it and some poor shooting, too.
Armstrong led at half 18-17.
Armstrong made more free throws (12) than Benilde attempted (10).
Armstrong also dominated the boards 33-22.
Amanda Viehauser had 17, and Nicole Dooher had 16 to lead Armstrong.
LaToya Williams led Benilde with 10.
