New Coach at Roosevelt

WILLIAMS HIRED AT ROOSEVELT
Tim Williams has been hired as the new girls basketball coach at Minneapolis Roosevelt. He replaces Willie Braziel who is now coaching the boys at Columbia Heights. Roosevelt made it to the semis in 3AAA last year and finished with a 16-11 record. This next year Roosevelt drops down to 4AA which is mainly Minneapolis schools, some private schools and the returning region champ Jordan.

Also of note: Once upon a time I taught school at Anwatin MS in Minneapolis and Williams was my student. Good luck former student and now coach Williams.

Next up: the third place and championship games from the 16u Minnesota AAU state championship.
