COACHING NEWS
Jenny Johnson is the new Athletic Director at Edina. It is unclear whether she will continue as the girls basketball coach.

Mike Freistleben is the new girls coach at Holy Family. He is the father of Becca. She averaged 23.8 ppg last season for the 16-9 Fire.

TOURNAMENTS
The Miss Dakota Basketball tournament starts today. You can follow the information on their site if you can't make it to Sioux Falls. Nine Minnesota teams will be taking part.

AAU NATIONALS
The 12u national tournament begins tomorrow in Rochester. Farview, Minnesota Suns, North Tartan and Rochester Shock are playing at the D-1 level. Here is the D1 Schedule. The AAU D2 national tournament also starts tomorrow and that site will be in Apple Valley. The Minnesota Thunder is playing D-2. Tournament action begins this Friday with the opening ceremony at Target Center starting at 6 p.m. Games begin on Saturday.
