HAYES VERBALS
Justine Hayes, Madison Memorial has made a verbal to Cleveland State. The 6-0 forward averaged 14.7 ppg last year. She is the 14th 2007 player from WI to make a verbal. From the Capital Times in Madison.

The Green Bay Press Gazette has a feature on diet and success. Breakfast is an important part of the plan. You are what you eat. There will be a talk "Fueling the Female Athlete" at St. Mary's Hospital Conference Center Thursday night. The event is free.

North Dakota State is looking to improve on last year's 9-17 season. Three starters return for the Bison.

MICHIGAN HS ACTION
Grand Ledge went four overtimes to beat Jackson 58-55. Jackie Feldpausch knocked down two free throws to help Grand Ledge late in the 4th quarter. From the Lansing State Journal.
Warren Cousino topped Port Huron 48-35 after trailing at half. First game in the Detroit Free Press coverage.
The Catholic League Semis are tomorrow and the Detroit News previews the action along with the Western Lakes and Detroit Public School League tourneys.

VOTING

Ryan Wright is the new coach at Greenway. He replaces Lori Thompson who moved to the Twin Cities area.

Chris Tommila has moved over to the boys side at Floodwood. He was a boys assistant before taking the girls job two years ago. No word on the new girls coach there.
