TRANSFER RULES
In Hawaii the Maui Interscholastic League has a rule, where students who transfer to another school in the league cannot play a sport at the new school that they played at the former school the previous year. They can play a sport they didn't play at the first school. So if a kid transfered and played basketball they couldn't play basketball at school B, but could play softball or volleyball if they didn't play at school A.
If they did this in MN there would be no transfers period.
You will have to scroll down a bit to find it out in the article from the Maui News.
