MN FALL LEAGUE REVIEW WEEK 3

With one week to go the undefeated teams are dropping like the leaves. Seven are left, with two in the Red division.
Here is how it shakes out

Blue: St. Paul Central I looks as if they will take the title. They are 5-0 and own a victory over Mpls South (4-1). SPCI has games left against Lakeville South and Armstrong.

White: Hopkins knocked off Centennial Red from the undefeated ranks 39-36 last week. Osseo White also knocked off an undefeated White team: Eden Prairie. That leaves three teams with one loss. Hopkins closes out with Andover and Maple Grove. Centennial Red faces Eden Prairie in their only game. EP also sees Grand Rapids this weekend.

Red: this appears to be the toughest top to bottom. And two teams are unblemished at the top--Burnsville Black and Bloomington Kennedy. They meet at 10:05 this Sunday, but BB has to play dangerous St. Paul Central II later in the day, while Kennedy has a civil war game against Bloomington Jefferson later. Any league with Lakeville North 2-3 is pretty tough.

Green: Minnetonka lost to Orono to take them off the unbeaten list. WBL is tied with Tonka, but WBL's only loss was to Tonka in the first week. They will meet at the end in an exhibition game.

Orange: St. Paul Johnson has been running roughshod over the opposition up in Blaine. Johnson has the most points scored in any division with 293. They finish with the 0-5 Knights.

Yellow: Chaska B--a freshman group--has been making noise at this level with a 5-0 record. Their big win was a 51-47 victory over the Orioles in week #2. CB finishes with the 3-3 Ladywildcats and 4-1 Redhawks. CB has the biggest margins of any division. Chaska's second team is in the Green division.

Purple: Mounds View leads a very balanced league at 5-1.

Pink: Minnetonka 2 doesn't have a loss at 5-0.

Black: Barnum has made the trip down without problems and is 5-0. By the way the Lady Saders are not misspelled Sabers but they are the Crusaders from St. Croix Lutheran.
