WI Tournament Changes

WISCONSIN TOURNAMENT CHANGES?
Adam Thompson of the Sheboygan Press does not like the proposed changes to the WIAA basketball tournament. The State wants to add another class, limit the large schools to only four teams moving on to the state tournament, and bump the private schools up a division.
These changes are directed more to boys with private schools winning too many tournaments lately. Also they have open enrollment issues. Player movement is always a concern.

INJURED IOWA STATE PLAYERS RETURN
Iowa State has two players back from injuries. Lyndsey Medders is back after a stress fracture in the foot and Rachel Pierson is back from a herniated disc problem in the back.
Also Lisa Bildeaux, Grand Rapids, MN has decided not to play this year.

DETROIT NEWS SALUTES
Brittany Smiley, Dearborn Heights Robichaud, is saluted in the Detroit News.

POINT PARADE
