Gophers Media Day, Blessed Event

GOPHER MEDIA DAY
The Gophers held media day yesterday. If you go to the Gopher site you can view 5 interviews with four players and coach Borton. They are free, but if you want more video you will need to pay for it.

LAST ONE STANDING
Kelly Roysland stayed with the Gophers when others left the pack. Her leadership and chemistry building have already had an impact. Here is the St. Paul Pioneer Press with her reasons for loyalty.

GOPHER STARTERS
It appears at this time Roysland and Emily Fox will be starters, but up front? That remains to be seen. Here is the StarTribune with more on those choices.

GOPHER COACHES SUPPORT

CATS FOR KIDS
NDSCS will hold the first Cats for Kids clinic on Saturday, Oct. 28. The players will work with youngsters on fundamentals. From the Wahpeton Daily News.

Gogebic Community College is looking forward to improve on their 10-14 record from a year ago. From the Ironwood Daily Globe.

The victim in the David Janssen sexual abuse case has come forward about what has happened and how she coped with the aftermath. Janssen was the coach at Hortonville before the charges were brought up. From the Appleton Post-Crescent.

BLESSED EVENT
Brynn Cameron, the former USC basketball player, gave birth Tuesday. The father, Arizona and former USC quarterback Matt Leinert missed practice on Wednesday. People magazine has photos of the parents, but not the kid......yet.
