2 NEW VERBALS
Kellie Schuneman, Centennial, a 5-4, guard has made a verbal to Jamestown. Schuneman averaged 8.3 ppg last year on the 23-7 7AAAA champions. She played with two AAU teams last summer---the MN Stars and later the MN Metro Stars.
Also making a verbal, and an early one at that, is Ashley Thomas out of Willemette Loyola Academy, IL to Wisconsin. The 6-1 junior is coming off of ACL surgery. Thomas played early in her career at Apple Valley, MN.

RECRUITING MODEL
It appears the Wisconsin men's basketball team led by Bo Ryan has the right approach to recruiting. Brian McCormick writes about the costs involved (the Wisconsin women spend more then the men on recruiting) and what it takes to not only survive, but thrive in the world of recruiting.

MICHIGAN POLL
St. Clair moved up to claim the new #1B spot in this week's poll. Former #1 Detroit Country Day dropped one, but now has all the pieces of the puzzle.
