MN STARS SHOOTOUT
Miracles 73, Monarchs 58

The Miracles grabbed control of the game early with a six possession scoring spree in a 13-2 run. Five different players scored for the Miracle on that run. The Miracles led 15-6 at this point. Droughts weren't that common today, but the Monarchs did go through an 8 possession drought. The Miracles didn't seize the chance and only added seven points. At half it was 37-30.

The Monarchs did make a comeback with five scoring possessions in seven chances. Talisha Barlow hit a three in the run to cut the Miracle lead 43-41. The last time the Monarchs were that close was on another 3 this time by Rachel Moen 48-46. At that point Kelsey Jacobson knocked down two 3s in two consecutive possessions and the lead ballooned to 54-46. That was the end of the Monarchs. This half had 3 kids with 10 points or better---Kelsey Jacobson had 15 points and Megan Howard 14 for the Miracles while Amy Kallemeyn had 11.

BY THE NUMBERS
Miracles 73, 74, 98.6, .459
Monarchs 59, 73, 80.8, .411
The Miracles had six 3s on the day with Jacobson racking up 3 all in the 2nd half. The Monarchs were one behind at five. The Miracles also had better scoring balance.

The programs had an innovation that I hadn't seen before with a double roster on the top and bottom of the page, so when two teams faced each other you didn't have to page back and forth, you could just mix and match.
As far as uniforms having numbers on the front and back would be useful. Also a clear contrast numbers and main body of the uniform would be easier to read.
