Hawaii Wins in California

TEAM HAWAII
Team Aloha, the Hawaiian team that was to go to Indiana to play until that tournament was cancelled, ended up in California winning the Storm Swish Invitational at Santa Barbara. In the finals they beat California Storm Black 60-48. CSB led at half 34-24. More from the Honolulu Advertiser, and Honolulu Star Bulletin. The California Storm has photos of Shawna-Lei Kuehu of Punahou.

PLAYER PROFILES
Emily Joseph is profiled along with her father the coach at Utica Ford in the Detroit News. The two have led the team to a 8-1 record and #10 ranking in class A.

In the DN they also have salutes and Ashlee Williams from New Haven makes the list.

Another relative profile at Mt. Pleasant Christian Academy with a sister combination--Kirsten Weirich and former player Missy Weirich is found the Mt Pleasant Morning Sun. The team is 10-1.

Hannah Hylla, has transfered from Holdingford to Albany. The 5-11 guard averaged 3 ppg as a freshman last year at Holdingford.
