Worden, Lund Verbals

WORDEN, LUND VERBALS
Tanaeya Worden, Sioux City North has verballed Southern Illinois. Worden averaged 13.3 ppg last season. The 5-5 guard is the second SC North player to verbal a D1 team from the 2007 class. Teammate Jacqui Kalin earlier verballed Northern Iowa. SC North 22-2 lost in the quarterfinals of the 2006 state tournament to Cedar Rapids Washington.
Also heading to Southern Illinois is Natalie Taylor of DePere, Wisconsin who made the verbal earlier this year.

Michelle Lund, Sioux City Heelan, has also made a verbal to a Missouri Valley team: Bradley.

Worden and Lund are the 7th and 8th HS players to have made a verbal to a D1 program from Iowa. In the states I cover, Iowa is in the lead with 8, Wisconsin is 2nd with 7, Michigan and Minnesota have 5.
