AMERICANS "KNEEL" BEFORE GREECE
I know I don't cover the men, but Greece beat the USA men in Japan 101-95 in the FIBA world championship Semifinals. The Greek Sports Minister George Orfanos said “Nobody could believe this. The Greek team made the Americans kneel to them.” The 2005 European champs do not have one NBA player on the roster. The Americans had poor shooting from the 3 pt line, and also from the free throw line. I am sure the blogosphere will be running rampant later today. Here is the game report from the MSNBC site.

Next up: later today with more Michigan results from last night.
