Auburn Hills Avondale Wins Battle of #1s

MICHIGAN ACTION
In the marquee matchup last night #1A Auburn Hills Avondale edged #1B Detroit Country Day 46-44. Katherine Talmage made two free throws with 25 seconds left to give AHA a 46-42 lead. From the Detroit Free Press.

The Detroit News led with Belleville's win over Inkster 52-39. It was the first time Belleville senior Tayler Manley experienced a win against Inkster.

#4 Lansing Waverly topped Eaton Rapids 58-48.
Tracy Nogle scored for Okemos with 2.5 seconds left in a 38-36 win over Lansing Everett.
Dansville beat Jackson Christian 35-32.
Jenni Jasinski, Grand Ledge scored with five seconds left in a 47-45 win over Lansing Eastern.
