MYSTERIOUS RESIGNATION
Paw Paw's coach John Thomasma abruptly resigned on Monday and everyone involved has been closed lip about it. Gary Mitchell JV coach will finish the year. WWMT has a report on the mystery as does the Kalamazoo Gazette.

MICHIGAN WEDNESDAY RESULTS

MICHIGAN SEASON DEBATE

FIBA WORLD CHAMPIONSHIPS
The USA beat Nigeria 79-46 in their second pool game in Brazil. Those with MN connections: Seimone Augustus had 10, and Katie Smith had 3.

CLASSIFICATIONS

La Pietra will remain a D2 school after all. The Interscholastic League of Honolulu backtracked on placing them in D1. The league will still be able to send two teams to the D1 state tournament according to the Hawai'i High School Athletic Association. From the Honolulu Advertiser.

SCHEDULES
South Dakota State has their schedule set and they have Southern Cal coming to town on Nov. 17, also Marquette comes to Brookings. They will be at Minnesota on Jan 14. This is their last year as an independent before the move to the Mid Continent.
