VERBALS
Kachine Alexander, Benilde-St. Margaret's has made a verbal to Iowa. BSM won the AAA State tournament last year and averaged 12.7 ppg. Alexander played for Triple Threat this summer. Minnesota now has 12 players total that have verballed, 7 to D1, 3 to the Big Six conference schools.

SUMMER CAMPS & THE FIX
Is the high powered summer camp going the way of the dinosaur? What is happening on the boys side may be happening on the girls side too. Adidas is out of the summer camp business. Read True Hoop, if you don't already.

Marquette coach Terri Mitchell is now signed through 2012-13. She has just finished her 12th year.

INJURIES

Rachel Sheldon, Janesville Craig, is fortunate to be doing anything right now. The basketball player that started sometimes for JC was banged up pretty bad from a car accident on June 30. She is golfing now and made the sections. Story from the Janesville Gazette.

CO-OPS

Wisconsin not only is having issues with private schools apparently they are rethinking the co-op issue. It mainly is a hockey issue right now brought about by Madison having 7 schools for a girls co-op, but they are looking at the whole package. From Dennis Semrau in the Capital Times.
