WOLFF VERBALS
Janessa Wolff, Park Rapids is headed to Penn State according to sources close to Penn State. The 6-3 center averaged 25.6 ppg last year for 22-5 Park Rapids. Wolff was 2nd team AP all state last year. She played with North-Tartan's 16 team this year, the girlsbasketball recruit's team of the year. She is the 13th toverbal from MN, the 8th to go D1, and the 4th to go to a school in one of the big six conferences. North Tartan has sent Alyssa Karel, and Tara Steinbauer to Wisconsin, and Macie Michelson to South Dakota State.

Richard "Whitey" Gilbertson, former Clinton coach, will be inducted into the Wisconsin Basketball Coaches Association Hall of Fame. He coached at Clinton for 29 years with a record of 510-158. His teams made it to state three times and won in 2003. More in the Beloit Daily News.
