VAN KLEI VERBALS
Alyssa Van Klei, Stillwater has made a verbal to MN State Mankato. The 6-0 forward averaged 10.4 ppg until an injury sidelined her the rest of the year. She averaged 8.0 ppg in her sophomore season. The AAAA Ponies were 3-2 when Van Klei played last year. They were 5-23 overall.
Van Klei played with MN Stars Antl this summer.
Van Klei is the 27th overall player from the Minnesota class of 2008 to verbal a school and the 15th to verbal a D2 school. She joins Jennie Noreen of Albany and Laura Weber of Eden Prairie headed to the Mavericks.
