FIVE NEW VERBALS
Morgan Hamner, a 6-2 center for Des Moines Roosevelt has opted to come up to Minnesota and go DII rather then DI on the east coast. She had her official visit to Southwest Minnesota State University mid-September and confirmed her verbal. She is a center that can go out and hit the three.
Hamner averaged 10.6 ppg for the 23-3 4A Runner up Rough Riders last season.

Hamner is the 12th Iowa player overall in the 2008 class to verbal and the 1st to verbal a D1 school.
