College Practice Season Set to Begin

SEASON PROSPECTS
The Minnesota Gophers are another year older and ready to face the challenges of the upcoming Big 10 season. From the StarTribune.

The Gophers are picked to finish 8th by the Big 10 coaches, 9th by the media. I ran the Big 10 Prospectus before and here it is again.

Iowa is looking to reverse last year's slide. From the Waterloo-Cedar Falls Courier.

Michigan coach Kevin Borseth is looking to turn around attitudes in Ann Arbor. From the Detroit News. Borseth will be emphasize one play at a time. From the Michigan Daily. The Ann Arbor News looks at the dawning of the Borseth Era.

Crisler Arena will be renovated according to the Michigan Daily.

The Horizon has also released their preseason polls and all conference teams. UW Milwaukee's Traci Edwards (Menasha) has been named preseason player of the year. UIC's Jessie Miller (Holy Angels) is on the second team.

Eastern Michigan's Women's Basketball team is looking for male students to be part of their scout team.

TECHS
Bench decorum will be a point of emphasis this season. Techs will be dished out for foul language and leaving the bench for the court.
