The MN Daily recaps the way the Gophers rapped Chicago State.

Michigan State knocked off South Florida from the list of unbeatens 79-71. 6-9 freshman Alyssa DeHaan had 20 points while former Mpls North star Mia Johnson had 2. From the State News too.

Iowa held on to beat Samford 66-60. Both Krista Vande Venter and Zoraa Quoie had two points for Iowa. Also from the Des Moines Register.

Indiana edged in state rival Notre Dame 54-51

Michigan beat Miami FL 60-55

Ohio State came from behind to beat Washington 84-79

Penn State slipped be Old Dominion 80-77

Wisconsin crippled Kansas 68-41

Marquette beat Rice 78-62. Former Racine St. Catherine player Krystal Ellis had a career high 26 for Marquette.

South Dakota State beat Long Beach State 85-41. From the Sioux Falls Argus Leader too.

Fairfield beat North Dakota State 76-56 for 3rd place in the East Carolina Tournament.

Akron beat Lehigh 62-61. Jordan's Mandy Holzer only played four minutes and didn't score while Bloomington Kennedy's Allison Schoff had five off the bench for the Zips.

Northern Iowa beat Illinois Chicago 66-50. Jessie Miller from Holy Angels had 5, and Cassie Johnson of Eastview had 6 for UIC.

Denver beat up on Colorado State 65-53. Ashly Robinson from Bloomington Kennedy had no points for Denver. Breck's Kelly Mullaney had five and Emily Neal seven for CSU.

UN Omaha beat first year program UH Hilo 97-61. It was UNO coach Patty Patton Shearer's 100th career win.

Wayne State beat UC Colorado Springs 64-45

UW Oshkosh took care of Northland 76-50

Lawrence handed Lake Forest its first loss of the season 54-50. From the Appleton Post-Crescent.

Mount Marty beat defending national NAIA champs Hastings 83-56 on Saturday. From the Yankton Press & Dakotan.

Black Hills State and SD Mines both were winners on Saturday in Colorado. BHS beat Johnson & Wales 101-26 and SDM beat Colorado College 79-65. From the Rapid City Journal.

Ridgewater beat up on Rainy River 61-37. From the West Central Tribune.
