It was a night of upsets for #1 teams: Benilde-St. Margaret's in AAA and Cedar Mountain-Comfrey in A both lost, both by two. BSM in overtime. Also #2 in AAA Rogers was defeated. Let's get to it--

Minneapolis South had 81 points----in the first half----in an 121-28 shellacking of Henry.
In the battle of Lakeville it was North in overtime beating South 48-45.
SPECIAL REPORT
Woodbury led White Bear Lake at half time 20-16. Woodbury's Hintz had 20, for the game. The next highest scorer was Sajavic 7. The team work with Thone and Hintz was evident with the dynamic duo working together all summer.
Defensively Kallmann was locked up on WBL's Dickey. Dickey had one field goal and four free throws. Dickey is a smart point guard and drew fouls on Kallman in the second half. When Kallman picked up her 4th the younger Kallman came in and guarded Dickey. Both Kallmans foot speed are so quick.

#1 Benilde-St. Margaret's stubbed their toe against Holy Angels in overtime 70-68.
St. Michael-Albertville beat a grieving #2 Rogers team 45-40. One of Rogers' classmates died they day before and the team was still in a state of shock. More details in the Elk River Star News.

Becker picked up a 59-38 win over St. Paul Johnson with future Gopher Brianna Mastey scoring 17 points plus 18 rebounds.
