PARK-COTTAGE GROVE 53, WOODBURY 31

A lot of defense in this game. Neither team could shoot outside and Park-Cottage led 17-13 at half.
3 Woodbury players fouled out including Sarah Hintz, Katie Christoffel, and Tara Wardell.
PCG had 16 fouls on the night, Woodbury had 24 for the night.
It was like a boxing match.
Both teams matched up in a zone.
Strength won. PCG got the ball inside and scored.
Woodbury was 9/19 at the line
PCG 25/36 at the line. Tina Fisher shot 10 free throws late.
Nohrenberg had 16 points for PCG, Schmoll had 11, Leick and Fisher had 10, Jackie Voigt had four before fouling out for PCG.
Jessica Thone had 15 to lead Woodbury.
Hintz had three fouls before six minutes were gone in the game.
PCG got up early and slowly walked away. The lighter players for Woodbury didn't match the strength of PCG.
Nice crowd, band involved.
That means PCG, Woodbury, CDH, and WBL all have one loss in the Suburban East conference.

Next up: tomorrow morning, unless I get more information coming in.
