MINNESOTA REPORTS
It was not a good day for hosts as Apple Valley, Bemidji, Columbia Heights, Hill-Murray, Mounds Park, Montgomery-Lonsdale, St. Croix Lutheran all were dropped. Two ranked teams hosting their own touraments--Hopkins and Rogers--also were defeated.

HOPKINS Dick's Sporting Goods Classic
Champlin Park's 78-58 win over Tartan led the coverage in the StarTribune, but their were interesting games along the way in that event.
Burnsville dodged Blaine 63-61 and Benilde-St. Margaret's handed Hopkins their fourth loss of the year 46-42.

ROCHESTER TOURNAMENT
Rochester JM scored the last 9 points of the game to beat Osseo 42-39 in the first semifinal. Camille Stenhaug's 3 put JM up 40-39 with 30 seconds left gave JM the lead for good. From the Rochester Post Bulletin.

ALBERT LEA Tiger Basketball Classic
Albert Lea, bucking a trend in which the hosts lost, advanced with a 62-50 win over Henry Sibley. Farmington lost for the first time this season with a xx- loss to Cannon Falls. From the Albert Lea Tribune.

BEMIDJI Wells Fargo Invitational
Mpls South beat the hosts 87-62 and Kittson County Central beat Duluth Central 62-36 in the Bemidji Tournament. From the Bemidji Pioneer.

BRAINERD Holiday Tournament
Brainerd also beat the trend of hosts losing with a 64-41 win over Milaca. From the Brainerd Dispatch.

WINONA STATE Warrior Classic
Winona downed Richfield in the Warrior Classic in Winona. From the Winona Daily News.

ST. CLAIR Holiday Classic
St. James advanced with a 52-38 win over NRHEG. Next up is MVL in the semis. From the Mankato Free Press.
MVL beat United South Central 49-34 in another quarterfinal in that tournament. From the New Ulm Journal.

MANKATO LOYOLA Crusader Classic
LeSueur-Henderson beat Waterville-Elysian-Morristown 60-37. From the Mankato Free Press.

BOLD tournament
BOLD will play in the finals of their own 4 team tournament after a 53-47 win over Buffalo Lake-Hector. They will see Winsted Holy Trinity in the championship. From the West Central Tribune.

GREENWAY Holiday Tournament
Aitkin won their opener in the Greenway tournament with a convincing 56-26 win over Floodwood. This & more in the Brainerd Dispatch.

PELICAN RAPIDS Holiday Tournament
Pelican Rapids got by Norman County East 55-50 in their own tournament. From the Fergus Falls Daily Journal.

LAKE CITY Tournament
Lake City went overtime to beat Meadow Creek Christian 58-51. Also the Cannon Falls/Farmington is recapped. From the Red Wing Republican Eagle.

SARTELL Holiday Tournament
The Sartell tournament (which I covered) is the lead in the St. Cloud Times coverage, but there is boys tournaments in front.
