Georgia Tech stung Northwestern 82-68. Breck's Melissa Miller had 8 off the bench for NW.

Indiana beat instate rival Ball State 67-56

North Dakota State defeated San Jose State 69-61. Austin's Lisa Bue and Climax-Fisher's Brenda Slyt each had 14 for NDSU.

Central Michigan beat Dartmouth 68-49

UMKC edged Chicago State 51-48. Wayzata's Jowan Ortega had 8 as a starter, while St. Paul Central's Marta Waalen had 1 off the bench for UMKC. Mpls North's Faith Buchanan was held scoreless off the bench for Chicago State.

Army beat Long Beach State 69-59

Utah edged Montana State 66-63. Breck's Alyssa Nelson had 14 as a starter for MSU.

UN Omaha pounded Calumet again 81-42. North St. Paul's Cayla Hargrove ended up with five.

South Dakota beat instate rival and #13 Northern State 71-50. Also the Yankton Press & Dakotan weighs in. Carolin Becker of NSU went over the 1000 point mark in the game.

Amy Puthoff of Augustana was player of the week in the North Central. She shares the honor with Erika Quigley of St. Cloud State with her 4th straight honor.

Concordia St. Paul's Amanda Behnke was named player of the week in the Northern Sun.
