The Pioneer Press today has a feature on Central, their transformation from a collection of individuals to a team, and tonight's rematch with Hopkins. In the latest USA Today poll SPC was #8 in the Midwest section.
NICOLLET TRANSITION
Jeremy Blackwell is Nicollet's new coach. He took over after Kevin Christenson resigned two games into the season. Nicollet has won twice since then. From the Mankato Free Press.
GILBERTSON FEATURE
Jenny Gilbertson, Winona Cotter recently topped 1000 points and is featured today in the Winona Daily News. She credits her AAU summer with improving her defense.

NW Suburbs Cable 12 has some highlights from the week past with Champlin Park's win over Armstrong and Hopkins win over St. Michael-Albertville. There is boys highlights in front of the girls games. Also Hopkins Jackie Hiebert is in the spotlight.

Red Wing won a 57-55 overtime nailbiter on Tuesday over Northfield. Brittany Lewis hit the game winner for RW with two seconds to go. From the Red Wing Republican Eagle.
