Detroit Lakes Unblemished, This Weeks Tournaments Rated

MINNESOTA REPORTS
LATE SATURDAY ACTION
#4 AAA Detroit Lakes stayed unblemished with a 45-38 win over Fergus Falls, also other area recaps in the Fergus Falls Daily Journal.

#1 AA Crookston traveled to #10 AAA Hibbing and took care of business in a 71-53 win. From the Hibbing Daily Tribune.

New London-Spicer tipped Alexandria 43-38 in a cross class battle. Renae Henjum had another double/double game. Also other area recaps.

Montevideo won their own tournament with a 66-53 win over Ortonville. Both the above in the West Central Tribune.

Bloomington Kennedy traveled to Wisconsin to take on Greendale, the #1 team in D2 and was beat 69-57. Tara Steinbauer's name wasn't in the box as Shaquila Boler led JFK with 23. Steinabauer had 30 the night before in a l76-73 loss to Eden Prairie. Greendale's Ashley Imperiale who is headed to Chicago Loyola had 29.

TOURNAMENTS ACOMING
In the Albert Lea Tournament at 2:30 on the 27th Farmington will face Cannon Falls. The two will meet on January 2nd as well in Farmington. The second game at 6 pm has the host Albert Lea facing Henry Sibley.

TODAYS & THIS WEEKS TOURNAMENT ACTION
Royalton has their tournament today and tomorrow. Hinckley-Finlayson opens with Meadow Creek and Royalton sees Onamia later tonight. one star

Lester Prairie has their tournament today and tomorrow with Winsted Holy Trinity, Kimball and a team of unknown origin. one star.

On Tuesday Osakis begins their tournament with Bertha-Hewitt, Brandon-Evansville, Henning. If finishes on Thursday. one star

Thursday New York Mills has their tournament with Battle Lake seeing Verndale and NYM taking on Sebeka. one star

Cedar Mt.-Comfrey hosts a tournament where they take on Westbrook-Walnut Grove and Lakeview faces SW Star. two stars.

Nicollet has a tournament with SW Christian (Chaska) seeing New Ulm Cathedral and the hosts facing St. Peter. three stars.

Woodbury has St. Paul Johnson, Armstrong, and Bloomington Jefferson coming to town. two stars.

Next Sunday I will run down all the tournaments for the next week and give them their own stars.

If you are looking for paraders, you will have to go back to the day after the game (Sunday's posting) where I up date the parade list. No games Sunday mean no Paraders on Monday.
