Illinois downed IPFW 74-47. Kennedy's Jenna Smith had 11 as a starter for the Illini. Lori Bjork, of Johnston, IA had 15 to lead Illinois.

#7 LSU dropped #17 Michigan State 65-50. Mia Johnson of Mpls North had 4 points off the bench for MSU.

Ohio State pounded Howard 97-52

Penn State edged Georgetown 52-44

DePaul beat neighbor Illinois Chicago 74-65. Jessie Miller of Holy Angels had four points in a starting role for UIC. She also had five assists. Cassie Johnson of Eastview had 3 off the bench.

Missouri did overlook South Dakota State in a 79-62 win. SDSU is 8-3 on the year. The Sioux Falls Argus Leader noticed a missing intensity.

# 21 Marquette knocked off Gonzaga 74-60. Racine St. Catherine's Krystal Ellis had 29 for Marquette.

UN Omaha blitzed Calumet 109-40. North St. Paul's Cayla Hargrove had 18 for UNO.
